"I'm a great believer in luck, and I find the harder I work, the more luck I have." Thomas Jefferson
Usually March is known for being the month of luck. Except for March of 2020 might have you feeling somewhat unlucky. We've had days of cold, fog, rain, sleet, snow, clouds and everything else in between. With only a few days that give us a hopeful feeling that Spring really will be here soon. Between the gloomy weather, cancellations, and being stuck at home it would be easy to feel down on your luck. We thought we'd share some of our ideas for beating the March slumber.
Of course we believe it's essential to start each and every day with a great cup of coffee. That right there is non negotiable. You can keep it simple and brew up a pot at home or come and see us. Using our drive thru is a quick and convenient way to get your coffee fix. If you're looking to purchase our beans in bulk we can happily assist you with this using the drive thru as well. Coffee beans and Chai tea powders are available for purchase on our website and can be shipped to your home as well. We keep a variety or flavored and regular beans in stock and can be purchased in 1/2 or 1 pound bags and can be sold as whole bean or ground to your liking. You can also order larger bags through special order at any time. Oh, and did we mention we sell our chocolate covered espresso beans in bulk too?
Now maybe you are craving something a little more decadent during these gloomy days. Of course you can always get any of our specialty drinks. A creamy vanilla latte or rich dark mocha can help make any day a little brighter. And after days of being cooped up inside what doesn't sound better, but a white chocolate raspberry scone? We have pastries available daily. Or call ahead and we can create a custom pastry box with all of your favorites! If you can't make it out to the Coffee Cottage, no worries. We deliver! With a minimum order of six drinks we can deliver any of our roasted coffee, lattes, mochas, or smoothies all over Lexington.
With March creeping to an end and April just on the horizon we here at the Coffee Cottage wish you well! As the saying goes "this too shall pass". So to all our loyal patrons sitting at home enjoying that delicious cup of java. Hang in there! Hope to see you soon!
